Why compare asset allocations?

An asset allocation shows the types of assets or markets an option invests in.

This can show you which markets you're exposed to.

Asset types

When you invest, you invest in assets. These are the types of assets we invest in for each option.

Australian shares

Shares we have in publicly traded companies listed on, for example, the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Fixed income

Fixed income assets are like loans we give to a government or company, with set interest rates that earn income.

International shares

Shares we have in companies that are listed internationally.

Cash

We hold a few types of cash assets. Cash is generally considered the most secure asset class to invest in, but returns might not keep up with inflation.

Unlisted assets and alternatives

Unlisted assets are assets we invest in that aren't typically listed publicly. It can include investing in private companies, airports, or shopping centres ers. Alternative investments don't meet conventional asset class definitions. An example is commodities.

Read the PDS that applies to you for more information.

Diversified options

These options spread out their investments over a few different asset types.
Each option has been designed to reflect a specific investment approach.
