What to compare
Compare these 4 factors together to help you pick options that'll work best for you.
Returns
Longer-term returns (e.g. 7+ years) can be more reliable indicators of how an option is performing.
Fees
Investment fees cover the option's investment fees and costs, and transaction costs. You pay these separately to admin fees.
Suggested timeframe
Higher risk options tend to need more time (e.g. 7+ years) to give higher returns.
Risk
Think about how much risk you can take to get the returns you want. Generally speaking, lower risk options give lower returns.
Diversified options
These options spread out their investments over a few different asset types.
Each option has been designed to reflect a specific investment approach.
Returns are for Accumulation accounts and are net of fees and taxes.^

^Net of fees and taxes means the amount that's left after investment fees and costs, transaction costs and investment taxes have been taken out. That means the returns in the table represent the amount your super would have grown by (after these fees and taxes have been taken out) if it were invested in that option for that period of time

Lifecycle investment strategy
The Lifecycle Investment Strategy is made up of 3 investment pools. You can compare these Pools against our other options to help you understand if the Lifecycle Investment Strategy is right for you. But bear in mind, if you invest in the Lifecycle Investment Strategy:
You don't choose the pool/s you're in
We move your super between these pools based on your age
You could be invested in one or more pools at the same time.
